Unique Cafe in Boscobel

I've visited The Unique Cafe many times in my life so far, and I've never been disappointed in the food I've had here. But, not only is the food good; the waitstaff are also good people, also. The waitstaff are willing to joke around with you if you're the type to make some cheeky jokes and puns. Also, they've never messed up my order, which I really appreciate. (They're quite competent people.) In addition to the good food and good people, both the building and its decorations are works of art. The outside of the building is limestone, and the way it's built reminds me of a castle. The owner is also a collector of old tools, signs, toys, etc., and the inside of the building is filled with his collection. If you're a fan of the TV show, "American Pickers," you'll really enjoy this place!

Very good food at reasonable prices in a historic building built in 1905 that used to be a bank. Lots of antiques and old signs inside.

I love this place and stop here whenever I'm in town. Such fun things to look at, food is fantastic, service is spectacular.

I cycled into town and stumbled across this cornerstone cafe. By luck, I met some incredible folks in the diner and had the best plate of biscuits and gravy in my life. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to come back when I am in the area again!

Best place in town and even though their shirts say worst food in town It's the best. No better sausage and biscuits anywhere.

Beautiful Town beautiful outside of the building building was beautiful inside food was okay waitress was a pretty nice she helped us in a search for houses even though she wasn't quite sure where we could find one. I would recommend this place so nice little quiet Cafe.

Classic comfort food. Breakfast all day. Lots for the eyes to see as the walls are covered in antiques.

Oh my...where does one start? If you're into old collectables like I am and like to reminisce, the place is lined with them...just like home. Service was swift and the food was served in ample portions...just like home. The taste?...again, just like home. One feels you are eating with family, not strangers. So if you wanna feel at home when you're not at home, this is the place to be. My "out of state" family are looking forward to coming here.

Best biscuits and gravy in the Driftless. My goodness, it's like burnt ends have a cousin in Wisco and they are bringing it for breakfast. You gotta do this folks, it's absolutely unbeatable.

Fantastic small town cafe...larger than it appears from the street...open for breakfast and lunch, but not evenings...large menu...good prices...friendly service...lots of antiques & vintage pieces, worth some extra time to enjoy them...old photos of the area on the walls...on street parking...located in downtown...a hit with locals...I'll go there again when in the area.

This is a unique cafe as it says, the decor is awesome, many signs, antiques, and memorabilia.The menu has many choices we had biscuits and gravy with hash. Towns and wife had an omelet, both were great, wonder coffee.Cup was always full.Reasonable price.

This place is exactly what the company states "Unique".Food is AWESOME! Cannot go wrong with any meal choice, portions are perfect, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is well unique. Gotta love all the old decor and antiques; always something to look at! Highly recommend to anyone traveling through or locals :)

This is a main place of eating on my week long family reunion. We come here most mornings and we are always satisfied with our service. We are looked after and made sure all of our needs are met. Never let down each visit. All the dishes I have tried I have always been pleased with. Good options for Vegetarians and Meat eaters.

We walked out after waiting at least 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence, even though the waitress walked by our table at least 4 times. Terrible service! I'd give it 0 stars if I could.

Great and friendly place to stop and eat. We found out about this place through a friend, we wish we had another hour to kill to keep talking with everyone there. We will definitely be riding there again.
